Pet Peeve: Stuff that doesn't work and the store you bought it at doesn't sell the parts.

Pet Please: Good friends
Pet Peeve: People who constantly feel they have to meddle in your business

Pet Please: Sleeping in till 7:30
Pet Peeve: Being woken up by the phone when you were still soundly asleep at 7:30 and could have maybe slept till 8.

Pet Please: Being healthy
Pet Peeve: Having little stupid things like the bump on my finger and behind my leg and this darn infection in my mouth that just won't seem to go away.

That's my beef for the day. Good thing I'm vegetarian or it may have gone on forever.....

Summer Fun

Here are 4 out of 5 boys having fun in the pool. It's not a big pool, but it does the trick just the same!
I'll eventually get in it too, someday when it's dark and no one around..... or when I'm too hot from cutting the grass.... I put it on my deck so at least I'll have a bit of privacy. And it keeps the grass out.

Craziness

Well, this week has been absolutely crazy~! Sunday I left for Ottawa with some coworkers to go accept a public service award for the work our team did at Vimy last year. Was there until Tuesday. It was nice cause I also got to visit with my favourite sister and favourite niece, and their ever expanding family farm...... look at this cute little bunny. Is he not the sweetest thing you ever saw! Awwwww....

Then on my return I started babysitting my friend's 3 boys. They are great kids, but it certainly has been interesting to go from 2 to 5 kids in the house. So much so that I lost the 3lbs I had gained in Ottawa just from forgetting to eat..... This may be the best diet yet!

Anyway, then Saturday was our car wash fundraiser for the school park. It was fun but oh my goodness it was busy, we barely had time to fill the buckets in between cars! There were many kids there and they all pitched in, even Lucas who doesn't like to get dirty, put the glove on and helped out. He prefered to collect the money.....

All in all it was fun, not sure I'd rush out and have another one, but I have at least experienced one. There were many volunteers including city police and RCMP, it was great of everyone to come out!

Now on to the next fundraiser!

Today Nathan tried carrots. There is a long line of cooked carrot haters in my family. I wonder if Nathan will keep the line going?
